Welcome to Dressing Room Diaries!
My name is Rebecca Hodge and I am a self confessed beauty junkie, ever since I was allowed to keep my Great Aunt’s Helena Rubinstein coral lipstick and gilt gold pressed powder case as a little girl, I’ve never looked back!
For the majority of my life, I have had the great privilege to learn and develop my love of dance and then be fortunate to work on stage in musicals including Grease, Mamma Mia! Dirty Dancing and Top Hat in London’s West End and in theatre’s across the UK. And, despite enduring some seriously unglamorous times in so called ‘show biz’….when wearing a Ball gown is part of your job description, I guess I’m one lucky girl!
From working in theatre, or on beauty counters between jobs, I have developed a passion for understanding how to achieve different aspects of ‘beauty’. From bare-faced fresh to full on glamour! I also have a huge appreciation for sustained good health and recognise that if you are happy on the inside it shows on the outside. Having gone through highs and lows of success and disappointments, physical fitness to injuries, I hope I can share a few tips, tricks and insights from my experience.
Thanks for stopping by
